Night view assist does not seem to work lately
It’s turned on in settings. Went by lots of people last night and it didn’t come on once. It’s been hot and humid lately dunno if that has something to do with it? I’m starting to think it’s kinda a useless feature on my 2018 s560. Also about a month ago I was coming up with low oil on my dash display so I added a quart. The past month it was showing right at max and last night it now shows it as a overfill and says remove some oil strange. Seems like that gauge is useless. Wish the car had a dipstick. It made sense a month ago it might be down a quart as it had been 7k miles since the oil change. Been about 8k miles thinking about brining it in soon.
My NightView and ECO start/stop were only working occasionally this past winter. Figured it was because I wasn't driving the car frequently enough.
Turns out the battery was the original one installed and 7 years old! After replacement (also now using a CTEK maintainer) both functions worked like a charm.
(Note: My mechanic has since convinced me to stop using ECO. He says it absolutely destroys engines. With BenzNinja's help it now turns off and stays off.)

It’s possible the car does sit in the garage a lot although the start stop feature seems to be working ok and no messages on the display about the aux battery although I think it’s the original so it’s probably living on borrowed time at this point.
