I took my drivers seat out without disconnecting the battery, and now I have an SRS Malfunction warning. Is there a way to reset it without using the dealer?

Anytime you disconnect those systems they give that warning, even older cars. I had this happen to my Nissan Truck and my local indy mechanic was able to disable the warning. He's got a serious diagnotic system in his shop and it was super easy. He does charge normally $175 but did this for me for free since I have spent a ***** load of money with him over the last 20 years. Find a local person that has the right equipment but expect to pay either stealership or local guy.

Just a follow-up. The charge for the reset was $89.

That's pretty reasonable. I paid about $100 when I did this accidentally on my previous car.

Maybe the 'Benz Ninja' guys can do this with their system?
