Atomizer troubleshooting S550
I just purchased a 2015 S550 4matic and I’m having some issues with the atomizer. Can someone explain how it works from a mechanical perspective? I have the jar with a fragrance installed, I reglued the metal discs to the bottom of the jar (it fell off), but I’m still not getting much of any scent despite putting it on the highest setting. Does the jar need to be positioned closely to the top of the enclosure so it can depress the center hole and let the fragrance out? If so what keeps the jar tight against the top? Curious how the mechanics of the system works? Is there something that’s supposed to raise and lower the jar? How do I make sure it’s installed correctly? Someone mentioned it retracting to let you put in a new cartridge. Not sure if mine moves. Sorry for the newbie questions!
