I had fixed mine, to the best of my ability, by pulling the windshield then heating the leather. Once its heated, you can stretch it a bit, then glue it down. Its not easy work. Once I glued it down, I put bags of salt to hold it in place for a week. The final result is not bad. The replacement windshield that went in was tinted once installed. Hopefully this shows you my attempt. Not perfect, but definitely better than before.
Here you can see the dash peeling up (windshield removed).

wow.. same problem.. Did you do this work yourself? Its a bit beyond my ability so would need to take to a shop to do..
I had a windshield company remove the windshield. As far as the dash, yes, did the work myself. It's not easy, and I don't suggest a novice attempt to do this on their own.

No rips or tears.. just releasing all the way around and curling up.. Its getting worse. Any suggestions??
Try a different dealer or diy and fix it yourself.
I went to a ton of places trying to get someone (body shops, interior shops) to do it and everyone passed.. Went ahead and had the dealership do it.. its done.... hoping it doesn't happen again..

Hi. This seems to be an ongoing issue on the 2014 and newer Mercedes S-Classes. I had a 2015 S550 Sport that was doing the exact same thing. We removed the front windshield, heated up the leather and glued it down. We ended up selling the car. We now just purchased a Mercedes S560 Sport 2019 from West Palm Beach Florida. When the car gets here, believe it or not it has the same issue. I was thinking Mercedes would have rectified this problem in the newer models, buts seems like all of the S-Classes have this issue. I think this is a Manufacturing defect and Mercedes needs to extend the factory warranty on the dash.
This is something that really can’t be rectified. Leather is a natural product, and heat and UV rays shrink it, the only way to avoid it is to use a sunshade when it’s parked out in the sun and tint the windshield with a ceramic UV rejection film…or don’t use leather on the dash like that.
Yea did what I could on our car.. heated and stretch a little and glued down but not enough ... still a bit of a gap.. Im just going to lower price and sell that part disclosed as is... its way too expensive to replace
