Seat switch repair

Hello.
Before I forked out $300 Canadian on a used part I wanted to take a look if I could fix the problem myself.
My driver side power seat switch suddenly started to fell loose, to be exact the bottom part of the switch, that controls up and down, forward and back and tilt.
Seat works when using the memory buttons but If I wanted to do any of the mentioned functions I would feel that the switch is "broken" or loose and seat is not working.
Since this is not the end of the world problem and I like keeping one thing broken on my cars, I was not bothered with it too much. With that said, I did scour the internet and forums about this issue and it appears that no one ever had this problem.
Well if anyone has this problem on their car, here is a simple solution that did not cost a single penny and took an hour to fix.
This would apply to all four doors on w222 or any model that has same seat switches.
I took the door panel off and removed the switch. Lots of instructions on how to remove a door panel on the net. Seat switch is clipped in and using small flat screwdriver against the clips it pops out.
I took the switch out of the door card, removed back plastic cover that was just clipped in and 3 small screws that hold the board to the switch housing.
With the switch naked in my hand I have noticed that the bottom seat control toggle switch had separated.
Simple fix was to heat up a small Mercedes Benz approved nail, run it trough the sides of the switch, making sure its centered. After that I just used some hot glue to keep in place if it ever decided to come out and mainly for cosmetics.
Reassembled the switch, put back in the door card and 100% success.
See pictures for reference.
Hope this helps someone down the road and saves some money.
Thank you for reading
