Oil in Wiring Harness? Watch out this!

Based on what I saw, the oil is NOT creeped into the wiring harness as people thought; instead, it’s from the rubber engine oil leak adapter. The hole is directly on top of the wire bundle!

I do see some sensors leak though, it’s not the main cause, as I don’t see oil creep all the way.

So watch out this next time you pay someone to change the engine oil for the car!

The hole sits on top of the wire bundle!

There’s no oil on this side, indicating oil is not creeped from sensors.

By "rubber engine oil leak adapter" are you referring to the thing just beneath the oil filler cap?
