2019 S560 Concours edition question
The 2019 concours edition S Class is gorgeous. There were only 100 made.
My question is this. It seems like the dealers are asking a big premium for this car in the retail market. Is this car worth more in the wholesale/trade market than the regular S560? I would assume so, but in doing research online it does not seem to add value as an option.
Anyone have any insight on this? Any info appreciated, as I am considering buying one, but don’t want to set my self so far back financially due to a high premium for this car.

It was a special optional package that is primarily aesthetic. Only available in Magnetite Black exterior and the special color interior. It has a very high end special leather that is seen on the seats, steering wheel, floor mats, etc. Also package included upgraded 20 inch unique rims for the tires on this car. I believe all of them had drivers assist along rear seat packages. No sport pack on this car. Only 100 made total and 50 were 4matic and 50 RWD. The package cost just over $43000 alone. Typical MSRP for this car was over $150,000.
Google it and you’ll see all kinds of pictures and info. It’s a gorgeous car, I’m just not sure its worth a lot of extra money in the used market as I am concerned I would get hosed when I try to trade it in but they are quite hard to find used due to low production. Who knows??

If you like the styling then make the dealer an offer, but don't do it based on perceived value--do it based on your assessment of value.

Here is one of our prior threads about this car.

The issue with these are missing, more useful options that can't be added to any special edition builds and the $43k package is worth almost nothing used. Well, maybe a couple thousand at best...

$43K option on a $100K car ... I do like how the special color is used on the entire lower half of the doors, on the console and the lower dash. I wish Mercedes had used this concept for regular production. Would have made a subtle but interesting update to the facelift cars, for example.
BTW, have been looking at Bentley Flying Spurs some lately. They have a $50k "First Edition" package made up of badges and fairly ordinary stuff.
Good marketing if you can find someone to pay those prices!

Pretty lame that they are charging $43k for that interior package but cant even give you the 3d sound option.
For probably 1/4th the cost of that package you could find a good upholstery shop to replicate a similar type of interior.
