Biggest tire for winter
Hey so I went from 20s to 22s for the summer then back to 20s stock I’ve got so many flats I can’t count . What’s the biggest tire I can go with for winter for the pot holes in northeast ? 17? 18s? I’ll buy new rims and tires if need and like new used set please let me know

It would require a special machining to get a 17" wheel over the brake calipers. Could be done, but unlikely to be worth it.
Comparing 18" and 19", the selection of tires at 19" is so much better than a 18".
