Not possible to answer with a number because it will depend also on the receiver setup.

Seems the different generations of cars have different radios in them or something because my 2012 W221 had a range of about 25 feet and my 2015 W222 had a range of about 15 feet (basically right in front of the door) and my 2019 W222 has a range of around 100 feet or so. Seems like I can push it when I pull into my cul-de-sac and it is open by the time I get to the door.

I tried the window down trick and it helped a little. the biggest game changer for me to increase range was to get on a ladder and make sure the antenna on the opener unit was hanging straight down with nothing between it and the garage door

Mine works when I'm about one house down from my house...how far away do you guys want it to work? As long as it works far enough away that the door is all the way up by the time I'm pulling into the garage, I'm good.
