Wheel fitment: AMG vs. NON AMG
hello guys, just picked up a 2015 S550 and want to get new wheels for it. thinking 22s since the 20s look small on this big boy. can we fit the same spec wheels as AMG models or are the non AMG fenders not as wide?
looking to get the most aggressive fitment without rolling any fenders or shaving anything. sorry im new to the Mercedes world.

If you go forged 3-piece, you an have the wheel in any diameter you like, with any offset you like.
I recently went down from 20" to 19" so that potholes would not destroy my tires (and bend the wheel rims).

I would not go any larger than 20" on any S Class. You will destroy anything bigger unless you drive on glass smooth roads. Forged helps a little but you will still bend rims that are too big for the car. Plus the ride quality drops as you go much beyond 20" as you have to have rubber band sized tires to maintain the overall radius size of the wheel and tire combo. I have a set of 20" forged AMG S63 wheels for sale in the marketplace if you want a more aggressive look BTW.
