Removal of rear seat entertainment

Is this something that I should be having done at the dealer, especially if this car is CPO? Any idea on what this might cost?
Thanks!

Just curious, why do you want to remove them? Same issue (space?)? I would keep them even if you do NOT need them.
Keep in mind there is no way to use Massage seats without screens. There are a few other functions for seat comfort that are only accessible from the screens. If the car is CPO’ed, and you feel you really really really need to take them off, I would remove them yourself and then ask your dealer to code them off for you if you have no intention to ever install them back. It must not take more than 15-30 min of tech time, so 60 USD based on my typical Mbenz local rate, and if it’s CPO’ed you might talk them into doing it for free if u remove them yourself. If you are super worried, have them do it all together for u, shouldn’t take more than 1 hour labor time including removal.
If it is temporarily, I did not have any issues with any installing them and putting them back after I arrived, but would never consider removing them permanently.
Important: I don’t think you will like how the rear seats look after removing the rear seats if you are planning on this to be permanent unless u also want to retrofit the back of each seat.

in all ways I don’t see a reason as to why anyone would want them all the time off permanently
