Indeed, it may have happened after an automated wash with a lot of power-washing, which was an unfortunate necessity.
Will attempt the hair dryer trick!
It works, don't worry, you'll likely need to do it up to three times to for best result without removing the led strip

Suggested method should work, Be careful not to melt anything, go slow and keep the dryer moving all the time. Park so the Sun hits that side of the car.
Anyone have instructions to remove the Mirror / Strip? Every now and then after washing the error will show that the blinker is out, however it will dry out same day and operate fine.
