Lowering links issue

My Brother has an issue with his 2017 S550. He was installing lowering links to lower the car. The rear was a little too low, so he made an adjustment and now the rear is all the way down and won't rise. He put the stock links back on and same problem exists. Any ideas what may be going on? Thanks

you might have put the link on the sensor the wrong way
by this signal would be wrong and suspension module won't react
