Mercedes S350d W222 2016
Pre- safe function Limited
Hi all,
I have a S350d W222 2016 43000 Miles with pre/ safe function limited showing up with, lane assist inoperative, blind spot inoperative and ABS & Traction Light On and engine light all come up at once.
So let’s start from the top. So when I went to go view the car the air intake pipe on right side was pulled out and this point car didn’t have MOT and needed to be driven to the garage for MOT, I believe they drove it like that 2miles or so and back because when I went back to pick the car up to buy it was still pulled out. This leading to fault code showing.
P017100 The mixture (cylinder bank 1) is too lean. (Stored)
P034129 The position sensor for the intake camshaft (cylinder bank 1) has a malfunction. There is an invalid signal. (Stored)
P034000 The position sensor for the intake camshaft (cylinder bank 1) has an electrical fault. Stored
P034185
The position sensor for the intake camshaft (cylinder bank 1) has a malfunction. There is a signal above the permissible limit value.

secondly wid most of the other parts being diagnosed this is showing up in a few places wid different codes but meaning the same part
C003108 Left front wheel speed sensor fault - signal failure or message error (active - Stored)
I believe and hope that the cause of the pre safe limited function and other lights showing can be because of the speed sensor.
If anyone can help please let me know. The car has been maintained by Mercedes its whole life and engine and everything is running perfectly.

Here in the UK the S350d is probably the most "common" or popular S Class, it is the diesel version, on the road you will probably see 20 diesels for every 1 petrol S Class, huge economy for chauffeur work, can be around 50 mpg and more on a long run.
