Aftermarket wheels & Speedometer

Hello need some insight I have a 4matic and wanted to know what’s the max mph difference you can have between wheel mph and speedometer reading. I’m looking to bump up size on my 22’s.

245/30/22 and 295/25/22 keeps everything even front to back wheels spin 65 speedometer true speed 65 - example.

265/30/22 and 305/25/22 has a different ratio wheels spin 65 speedometer true speed 64.

Don’t wanna damage the drivetrain. I’m only using this tire rim setup for the summer. Any help would be appreciated.

Tire diameter is the relevant variable.

Use a tire size calculator like this: https://tiresize.com/calculator/

It will allow you to the entire difference. Also, look at optional OEM rims that have the same wheel size though I don't think 22" was an option. For example my car came with 19" rims. I went up to twenty and used the OEM 20" wheels to order the recommended tire size.

For the 305 tire diameter is 28x12 for the 265 diameter is 28.3x10.

You can put whatever size wheel and tire combo will fit with regards to the drivetrain. The only requirement is that the rolling diameter between the front and rear wheels cannot exceed 3%. You will also want to buy some spare rims because you will bend 22" rims the first time you hit a pothole at speed.
