2015 S550 Issues
Hello all! I bought a 2015 S550 4Matic today. Seller advertised car as nothing wrong so either he lied or I can't figure this out...
Issue #1 I connected my phone to the car but it won't connect for Bluetooth Audio, only calls.
Issue #2 Navigation says ACTIVATING Please Wait
Issue #3 Command/Radio buttons seem to be sticky and I can't get the MEDIA to display the source every time and when I do find a source I can't click/confirm it.
What am I doing wrong? I've already reset it via the eject cd button

On item one- you have to select audio to allow it to work, it is a separate item to check off. I don't remember exactly how to do it so someone else might have to chime in.
The buttons- if you are talking about the ones on the console- most certainly they had coffee or soda spilled on them at some point.

On item one- you have to select audio to allow it to work, it is a separate item to check off. I don't remember exactly how to do it so someone else might have to chime in.

You select it from the car. If memory serves- when you are in the phone menu go into manage phones or something like that and select your phone and check the audio icon. Then when you want to listen to BT audio hit Media and it should load the bluetooth audio (I use an iPhone but it should be the same).

Try pairing an iphone or another phone to see if you are having the same issue. I've had one of my iphones be a little glitchy from time to time, after I upgraded it wasn't a problem.
Navi, no idea, could be a number of issues. Would probably need to get it scanned to pin down the exact problem.
For the sticky buttons, tape the top of the buttons with painters tape, spray a little bit of CRC QD Electronic Cleaner under the buttons and give it a few min to dry out.

If it was a theft recovery, they probably disconnected or pulled some fuses and relays related to the GPS/NAV. Im guessing they also disconnected some relays/fuses related to command also. See the below link and check on any of the fuses/relays.

it’s possible they yanked out a number of fuses, take a peek at the above link. It details location and the function of each fuse. If you find one missing or damaged there are prob a few more.
