Hey everyone.

I've reached ~72K Km (about 45K miles) and I am getting a few issues with the car.

1. The A/C cooling stopped working. My diagnostic thingie (Carly) does not report anything about it, with the exception of a B!A8F15 code "Left front side air vent" malfunction, that I had since forever and never noticed any issues. Probably a leak or they've forgotten a valve open?

2. I am now experiencing the abrupt downshift from 3rd to 2nd gera, about half of the time and it's more pronounced when the deceleration is more immediate. It's annoying but I can live with it, provided it doesn't give me more serious trouble down the road.

3. The steering wheel started making a creaking sound when the car turns on and the wheel is lowered.

4. At some point half of the holographic display stopped working, then it slowly came back to life again.

5. Generally speaking, start-stop does not work due to the battery never having enough charge. Same for Standby mode. I travelled 2K Km last week and now it does work, but it's generally unreliable.

My question is thus, are any of the above concering? I've an appointment with the dealership and asked them to have a look at all of these under warranty, but it would help if I could point them to specific issues or probable causes. I have a few trips planned in the next few months and I don't want any of the above to escalate to a point that it leaves me stranded. Thank you all!

I got my car back from the dealership. They dealt with everything and only needed one and a half days.

1. They found a leak somewhere in the A/C and they've replaced the part.
2. They replaced a component in the transmission if I understood correctly (don't ask me, I could give you an update when they send me the details by mail) and they upgraded the software. I didn't notice the problem once on the way home. It used to happen about 1/3 to 1/2 of every 3->2 downshift.
3. Not sure what they did here, it is now fixed.
4. They said that its software was upgraded, but they didn't find any problems
5. The battery was OK, but they said they did another software upgrade and now it starts/stops normally.

I didn't pay a dime, since all of those were under the extended warranty; colour me a very happy customer.

Curious about what they changed in the trans, if you don’t mind updating when you hear.

When I had the pre-facelift, I had issues # 2, 3, 4 and 5 that you reported above, exactly at 70K miles too, with the addition of a squeaking noice from the lower control arm. All these issues seem to be pretty common on the pre-facelift at around that mileage. The car was reliable and flawless otherwise. Am not hopping that my current facelift will outlast that threshold mileage before any common issues start to appear, and I think it will.. no common issues have been reported on the forum by the facelift owners yet but I understand there is limited data too.
