Styling for one, the old Accord is really attractive, the new one is very awkward looking in the front. The old Accord has the 2.0T, the new one doesn't. His is a hybrid so thats not a concern but styling alone I would choose the previous one.
My assistant has one of those, the hybrid like his and its surprisingly nice.

I agree on the styling comments. I like the previous generation. There are a couple of the newer ones in my neighborhood. I don't care for the styling of the newer one at all. A white prior generation hybrid touring just drove by. Very nice car.

Besides styling, the reason we chose the prev gen 2021 low mileage one is the reliability. The previous accord lasted nearly 15 years or so. There isn’t enough data points on the internet about the new gen, while the previous gen has been proven to be reliable since it was introduced. I think we can easily keep this one for 10-15 years again like it’s precursor.
