Smoke on passenger front grill

Is it common to have a lot of smoke out of the front passenger grill after a heavy rain? All I see is the bumper mesh on that side with nothing else behind it to stop water from coming in. First time driving it in the rain, thanks in advance.

thanks for the reply, but yes. It was water vapor on passenger side due to heat. Is that common, or is there any way to prevent it from being so much?.

I've seen one a couple of times after driving in the rain on a sunny day or during the day after a long drive (vapor, not smoke).... and yes specifically from the front passenger side not the driver side (not sure why that area).
