main battery replacement
After 6 years mine finally started giving me messages on the dash 'pull over and keep the engine running'. Figured it was main battery as i'd already replaced the aux a year ago. Dealer wanted almost $500 just for the part. Found an equivalent for less than $300. Took 15 mins. No coding or error messages generated.

My go to for service dealer replaced mine under warranty after several complaints to another dealer about a partially charged batttery on the Mercedes Me app. Surprised to hear the battery was so expensive. I guess it was worth the additional wait time at my B service.

You did a good job replacing the battery . Dealer price can be more expensive than 3rd party stores which is very normal to me .

Going on a year on my WalMart AGM battery for $169. Only thing I still wonder about ... there's a setting in the car's electronics where you tell it you've changed the battery. Would cost almost as much as the battery to have someone connect Xentry and reset it, so I decided not to and see if the car can figure it out on its own. So far, all seems fine ...

Just replaced my main battery, pretty straight forward and took less than 30 min. I took my time, didn't want to damage anything and could have swapped battery in 10 min. All came back including settings, the battery in the car was 2019 so trickle charger was always on when I parked. Car always started but I didn't want any issues as I'm planning a roadtrip to Florida (Texas) next month and want to make sure all systems are 100%.

I¨m checking faylt codes now and then on my car.
After reciving those 2 fault codes for a while (no sign on dashboard) i decided to replace starter battery (Varta Silver 105AH AGM)
B1F4500 Stored The resistance of the starter battery is too high.
B21059A Current and Stored The capacity of the starter battery is too low. The operating conditions for the system or the component are not met.

No problem. Removed/installed the battery according to mercedes instructions. No battery backup connected during this time. No memory settings in the car were lost. Connected diagnostic equipment after to check/remove any error codes.
