Dealership put the wrong engine oil, how screwed am I?

As the title says. Noticed that the dealership put 229.5 on my first service in 2021, then 229.52 last year and 229.5 again this year.

How screwed is my engine going to be? I remember the M176 having a particulate filter like diesel engines do; do I need to ask them to replace the oil and the filter?

Thanks!

You will be fine.
Car will also be fine. I think you need the ESP oil. But one oil change isnt going to make a difference. I don't think so. Over time it might.

What do you mean 229.5 oil? That is not weight or vicosity?

You're fine.

The 229.* number is an MB spec. They can be found on the Operating Fluids site (google or search this site).
