Does anyone else have this? Most features don’t expire for 2 years but this is annual. It wants me to renew the whole mb Connect just to renew Stolen vehicle tracking???

When I went to renew the M-B Connect services on my 2020 GLS a couple months ago, I was unable to make choices à la carte. Instead, it was $150/year for everything, take it or leave it. This is what I see now, when I log in:

Yes the a la carte option was switched to a total package earlier this year. The total package is less than what you had to pay if you selected all of the a la carte items but you're stuck with paying for services you might not need. For example, I find the navigation inferior to Waze and Google maps so I'd be happy to drop the map update and traffic navigation services but now we can't. They know this is an easy profit center for them and the customers will just pay it. Boy would they be surprised if we all banded together and cancelled our services for all of 2024.

Why does 1 item expire sooner than the other 99?

Not all services got activated at the same time when the car was new. The stolen vehicle service for some reason took an extra month to be activated when I first activated the services, so it expires one month after all the other services. The other reason is if you did a-la-carte last year and didn't renew all services then you will have different expiration dates now, because with the new package it just adds 12 months to the active services, and starts a fresh 12 months for the services you didn't renew last year.

For example I renewed everything last year, except for remote start, but now I have remote start again with the new package structure, all for less money than I paid last year BTW, but my remote start now has a different expiration date than the services I renewed last year, and the stolen vehicle service also still has a different expiration date.
