"Active Blind Spot Detection Inoperative"

We had a cold snap over Christmas weekend, and on the first cold morning I started seeing this message shortly after starting the car. It's pretty much gone away since then, but I did see it once yesterday after driving for about 20 miles.

An internet search suggests this might come from dirty radar sensors ... has anyone seen had this message pop up associated with weather change?

Moisture and frost in cold weather may cause the sensors to go cause this from time to time. I wouldn't be too concerned about it.

Some cold mornings do weird things to my cars. I've had the blind spot warning inoperative warning before, but I don't think it was weather related. A glitch perhaps, but the blind spotting still appeared to be functioning properly. Recently during these cold mornings, before sunlight, I get lane keep assist warnings, but then they do still function properly when I go over lanes to test.
