Hello, I recently tried to jump my 2014 s550, got no luck. I plan to replace the main/starter battery tomorrow (assuming its that), car is dead currently does not start and only clicks once when I remove the push start button and try to turn the key (tried to jump start but car did not turn over). I assume the car jumping my s550 didn't have enough power? I think we may have put some stress on the cables after a bit start to get hot and smell. Any suggestions? I also tried Nexpow 1500a, no luck as well.

The lights and electronic lock/unlock, power windows still work when car is idle, by chance does that mean my aux battery is still good? Any suggestions would help. Thanks.

What is the resting voltage of the starter battery?

Thanks to those who sent me a PM, replaced the starter battery and all is well. SOLVED!
