goop for sunroof seal

I know I've seen postings about this over the past years, but what is the goop that people are putting around the seal on the sunroof? Sometimes I get a whistling sound after popping up the back edge only, but then it takes a few full closures to get the seal back to not whistle. Haven't checked to see if wetting down the area does the same thing, but I would just as soon get rid of the whistling sooner than waiting for it to rain.

Not on topic, but I doubt my sun roof has been opened half a dozen times since I bought my car six and a half years ago - and at least half of those times, it was by accident.
Pure and simple, for me they are a total waste of money.

I think I am down towards 4 times since 2015. All but 1 as an accident.

2 best things I found so far for the service to the pano roof.

https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w...brication.html - Great PDF explaining the service

- a little excessive on the grease in spots but the process is explained well

Nothing on the seals though which is where the whistle noise would come from or the edges of the glass.
