Angry MB CPO PROGRAM (MOTOR MOUNTS)

Bought 2019 S560 ONLY TO DISCOVER 1 MONTH LATER I NEEDED THEM ,Bought warranty and it was covered . however i want to know if the inspection and discovery of that repair should be done prior to the sale??
i can only imagine if we had not bought that warranty. Are there any legal ramifications???

What legal ramifications? They give you a year warranty and covered the issue. Enjoy the new vehicle.

There is always a period of time after the extended warranty is purchased that the extended warranty expects there to not be a failure. That will be spelled out in the fine print in the warranty. Where there is a failure within that period of time it is reasonable to expect the dealership you purchased the car from to participate in the repair. Do some research. No extended warranty will be put in force without an extensive inspection. Extended warranty companies count on the selling dealer to perform that inspection.

I'm confused ... did you buy an extended warranty in addition to the CPO warranty? On a CPO car, one would think your MM replacement would have been handled under the CPO warranty ...

These are the sorts of things that can happen when you buy a 5 year old car. The CPO program doesn't guarantee that nothing will ever fail. You wouldn't have any symptoms of a motor mount failure until it fails.

Its a used car, not a new car.

I would bet that isn't something that was part of the CPO inspection, but as stated you're not using factory warranty which you get 2 more years on CPO. So no law suit--I had 35k on my car when I did a A service and the stealership told me they recommended rear brake pads, which I foolishly agreed to and wondered why they would be worn out. Turns out they were at 50% life I was ripped off thus I will never go back to that stealership again, I had the pre-bought mainanence program which worked out very well for me, I paid $2,000 and got $5,000 of service but they clipped me for that extra non-required brake job.

What symptoms did you have that pointed to a failed motor mount(s)?

A bit confused here as well. CPO is a 1-year warranty to exactly cover these kinds of things that are being discovered after the car was purchased. CPO does require an inspection by the dealership that certifies the car, but it's well known that this inspection is suspect at best. Doesn't really matter, though, because any repair required within a year of purchase that wasn't the result of something you did is covered by the CPO warranty. What other warranty did you purchase? An extended warranty would be effective after your 1-year CPO warranty has run out.
