MB does not want owners to know even where their car's battery is located, much less what the battery's chemistry is or that non-MB OEM batteries exist and are compatible. Many of us are clueless about the what/where/why of batteries.
What models/years are equipped with Li-Ion batteries? If these cars can be re-coded to function with AGM batteries, why does MB equip the cars with Li-Ion? Any compromises or advantages other than cost to going AGM? And the Li-Ion battery here is a 12V starter battery, not the 48V mild hybrid battery, right?
