i read on few threads and all over the internet on correct color matching interior dye. many of us are hesitant to buy the dye (i was too) but i had to take a chance i had some leather creasing where the color was rubbed totally off. everytime i got in my car i saw this and it annoyed me daily. i ended up going with seat doctors. i entered my vin# and gave a color description. seat doctors replied and said they have that color that fit my vin# along with my color description. a week later my dye came in. i couldn’t wait to test it. i used a piece of white plastic as a paint swatch tester placed it the seat and it was such a perfect color match i actually couldn’t see where i laid the swatch.
i use a wedge tip artist paint brush to apply the dye carefully to the areas where the seat stitching is a different color, the artist brush worked perfectly. the leather dye is quite runny tho.
it has been six weeks since i applied the dye to my seat and it’s still perfect with no color fading. i couldn’t be happier.
Thanks for letting us know . I didn't know such a product existed . Artificial leather could leave some dye marks when one wears a light denim I know that but for genuine leather I have not seen any complaints about it

I dont have any pictures because as I said he made the repair invisible and told me that his repair lasts as long as the original coloring lasts. If i recall he has pictures on his website of the work he does. I assure you that they are real. BUT I must say they I am by no means affiliated with him and am sure there are other leather repair people out there that are good I simply know that he does great work from my own experience.
Also there is King wheel repair in Orlando that does great repairs on wheels............ I know this also from experience they can polish out scratches in wheels really good.
i don’t have any before pics but i just went outside and took this pic in the sun. you can see where the creases are all the creases was wore down to natural leather. now i can’t tell where i applied the dye.
