Some of you may have already seen that I traded my 2020 S560 in on a 2024 S580 today. Really went back and forth about keeping the S560, its for sure the best car I have ever owned. Also seriously considered a BMW i7, but in the end the pull of the three pointed star and concerns about traveling in an EV won out.
I hope I enjoy this S580 as much as I enjoyed the S560, because I really did enjoy it. Was definitely bittersweet. She's going into the showroom. If anybody in the DC area (or beyond) is looking for a great S560 its going to be coming on at Euro Motorcars in Germantown, MD. All the records, full front clear bra...its really a nice one.
So far the new car is smoother and quieter (which I wouldn't have thought possible) and the tech is overwhelming and awesome. This one has warmth and comfort, power rear seats and exclusive nappa interior so its better optioned than the old one which was very basic.
