S560 and S580 are the engine blocks interchangable

S560 and S580 are the engine blocks interchangable
Hi all
Does anyone here know if the engine block on the 2021 S560 and the 2022 S580 are interchangable please?
I have online mercedes parts EPC, but the engine block is greyed out on both these models. They are both M176980 engines, I'm hoping the only differences is on the bolt on stuff like the cylinder heads, the air intakes etc.
I have been told that they are the same for both of these vehicles as well as the M177 engine, but want to check any experts views on here.

Becuase I think I may have a broken block in my 2022 s580, won't know until I can get better access. If so I cannot find block for the s580 but I think the S560 block will fit. I was double checking

I assume that you damaged it in such a way that it wouldn't be covered under warranty
