Hi all! One more please (new car to me obviously) and very grateful to the forum for being so helpful. What is this insert in the rear door? It's jammed in there pretty good, but there was nothing in it. Safe to remove I assume? Something fun I should find on eBay? MB lightsaber? Thanks in advance!

It is weird, truly weird. The smaller slot is for the remote control for the rear screens, and the round part is fot the removable ashtray canister "thingy". Might be wrong, but that's what was in my car: I still keep the remotes there, but removed the ashtray canister.

 

It's actually held in place by two fasteners ...
