We have a deal worked out on a 2019 S560 pending a clean pre-purchase inspection (scheduled for this Wednesday). Any recommendations on what we ask the Indie mechanic to focus on please? Thanks in advance!

One that's been discussed here recently is oil leaking into the spark plug bores ... I think someone had a $6,000 repair estimate for this!

Have you seen what's covered with this indy's PPI? If not, ask them to send you a sample PPI that shows what's covered, then post it here. It's easier to tell you what to ask for in addition to what they suggest than it is to start from scratch.

Some members on here had valve cover gaskets leaking, which also includes the gaskets that around each spark plug hole. Was a major repair, I guess lots of labor.

Check the transmission oil pan for any metal particles.
