Looking at a 2020 S560 - codes inside
Upon first fire up though, there was some ticking noise from the engine but it subsided quickly. I figured it may have been initial oil flow as it had been sitting for a few weeks. To note, the 12V battery was/is very very low and the car jumped idle for a bit along with the dash warning message about the battery. Subsequent starting of the car the next day or two exhibited no engine noise/ticking like that first time.
Reading into the codes, looks like it may be cam sensors, solenoid/magnetic adjusters? I couldn’t find much on the M176/177/178 engines though, mostly the older V8 or other MB engines.
Any idea on these codes? Thanks for the help!

I can’t help with the other codes.

(yes, I’m several thousand $$$ poorer due to this educational experience)

The ticking at startup is a thing with this motor, wont go away.
Mine has been doing it for 50k miles and car runs great.
My W220 did the same thing and ran fine until I sold it with 150k on the clock.
The exhaust flaps can be coded to open position, or you might be able to just get them jammed open, then problem solved.
Check the date code on the door of when your car was made, as long as its pre pandemic, its a good W222.
