Distronics Suspended
2017 s550 cabriolet just the other day got a message pop up that said distronics suspended. Tried several times to turn it back on with the same result distronics suspended then it just turns off. I’m asking the experts any thoughts?.

That is what happened to me when my aux battery went bad, jeez $40 on Amazon the stealership charged me 400 
They had it in for an A service already and I had MB warranty left. I don't go back there anymore!

This is what I put in my 2019 in January ...
Don't know if coupe uses a different type or location. Mine is next to the big fuse block on the right rear fender beneath the trunk lining.

from what I understand it is located in the trunk right hand side. I will confirm what battery it is once I get it out. I will order a new one regardless even if it was $100 at least it will take take issue off the table. Then if that doesn’t work I’ll dig deeper. Thanks again for all your support and help.

At least on the Sedan it is kinda a tough area to work on, you need to be a contortionist I struggled with mine quite a while. Woulda been easier if the terminals were different they had those little screws with the little nuts which were hard to get started on the new battery. The other thing that can cause distronic to not function is debris on the radar sensor on the front grill of the car or a heavy rainfall or heavy snow, you'll get that message then.
