CV Boot kit replacement cost
My CV boot for the front right and left is starting to leak. Went to a shop and got quoted $1,120 just for labor and $130 for both boot kits ($65 each). As far as labor does this sound average, overpriced or fairly priced? Never got this done on any car before, so not sure what the average ball park is for such labor. This is for a 2019 S560 4Matic. The boot kit already seems little on the high side as I can get them for around $20 each on FCPEuro, but for the parts at least I consider the extra $40 as a rush delivery fee since the shop could get it the same day and of course ordering through FCPEuro will take about a week or two. The shop's quote just says labor price it doesn't say anything about how much time of labor it takes to complete.

They have to take the wheels off, tie rods off, everything just to get to the boots. Its one of those "while you are there" jobs. You don't want them to do the job all over again if one of the joints go. Because the boots started leaking, the joints might already have had dirt in there.
