Warranty Extension
Purchased my S63 in September of last year. Received this yesterday. Anyone else receive/familiar with this?

Warranty extensions cost more than the average owner consumes from them in maintenance and repair costs.
That is how they make money.

You can shop around different dealers for the best price. I used J Jackson at Louisville MB for my wife's 2018 GLC. It was a slight loss for us. One repair over 7 yrs that cost 2100 at dealer.

This is an extension provided by Mercedes for the Diagnostic Module for Tank Leakage detection (“DMTL”). 15 Years/150,00 miles, whichever comes first.

Yes OP is talking about an MB warranty extension for a specific component due to an identified problem. MB didn't want to pay for a recall so this is what they do (which TBH is way better than nothing - looking at you Porsche).

Who'd have guessed there was a Diagnostic Module for Tank Leakage detection (“DMTL”)? Just for AMGs or was it used on regular S-class models as well?
