MB B2 Service what really needs to be done
I have a B2 coming up, I know oil and brake fluid seem to be the main things. I did the Tanny fluid, air filter and spark plugs 2 years ago when I had a service plan in place, I did the cabin air filters last year already. Is there really anything else that needs to be done? I have only driven the car 2,500 since the A1 oil change last year and it never sees anything close to bad conditions. I for sure don't need new wiper blades as the car sees water only in the car wash and they were replaced 3 years ago under the plan

Check the service sheet (attached). Many of the items are just to check the overall condition (e.g. wipers). Spark plug interval is shortened to 40k miles/3 years due to what I understand is avoidance of them getting stuck in the head (aluminum to steel.)

- Cabin dust/combination filter replacement
- Brake component inspection
- Brake fluid exchange
- Reset maintenance counter

Yes, A is oil change, B is oil change and brake fluid change.
All service, regardless what they call it, includes checking fluid levels and walking around looking at stuff while the car's in the air with the fluid draining out (tires, brakes, suspension, etc. etc.)

Thanks all!! I just got a $250 off coupon from a Mercedes dealer (Autobahn motors) for $500 service. I haven't been back there since my warranty ran out (working off aftermarket now), I will see if they will play ball and not insist on doing everything on the list. Plugs were done 3 years ago but only 6,000 miles that seems crazy to do them now.
