Slight Bump On Hard Accel From Stop
Hi All,
When i get on it from a hard stop i hear a bump sound.
like if your in a boat and you hit a tree slighlty.
my flex pack is a little beat up.
the car is not slipping, just a bump sound on launch….

Back in the day, that was a clear sign of a U-joint going out in the driveline. But these cars don't have U-joints.

There is a u-joint at the center support bearing. However in 35 years of DIY on my Mercedes I've never had to replace one. If your flex discs are in order (front and rear) check the rear end for worn suspension links.

Neutral and wheels off ground to rotate bolts around, shaft position should be maintained.
