Lane assit malfunction
Hi i have a W222 S550L 4matic 2016 model and for the past month or so i had a aux battery malfunction message, with that my lane assit went. today i changed the aux battery bought from the dealer and installed it hoping to have fixed the issue, after starting my car i was surpirsed to still see both messages on the screen
i didnt think much of it i got my scanner and cleared all the codes, including this stored one (b11c11b) additional battery has a malfunction. the limit value for resistance has been exceeded. after clearing all codes these 2 where left (B1E9F15) the steering wheel electronics has a malfunction. there is a short circuit to postive or an open circuit. and (B1EB015) Lane keeping assist has a malfunction. there is a short circuit to postive or an open circuit. current and stored. i turned on the car afterwards and i still got a aux battery malfunction. now i still have 2 problems: after searching about the 2 codes i found this Repair case, basically having the same exact problem i have but no aux battery issue, do you think changing my steering module will fix this issue or is it a electric problem? 3 days ago on startup i felt the steering wheel vibrate/shake i didnt think much of it, now reading the symptoms in the article he had the same issue.
