Does anyone have the oem part number for the "4-MATIC" lettering on the rear trunk lid? 2015 S550 4 door sedan.

The part number you need is A222 990 00 85. It's the black "4-MATIC" badge for your sedan. Double-check your trunk to see if it has the adhesive foam already on it from the old badge; if so, you'll also need the foam gasket set A222 990 01 85. Your dealer can confirm the exact fit.

a2229900085 is not a valid part number.

In the Mercedes-Benz parts structure, the middle three digits of a part number (e.g., A 123 990 00 99) represent the parts group
or main group. Group 990 is commonly used for
fastening parts, attaching parts, screws, bolts, nuts, washers, repair kits, and
other hardware/fasteners that don't fit into more specific mechanical or body groups.


Why would they need the black badge?
