I was quoted $1899 for the tranny fluid change at the dealer for my 18 W222. I went to an independent transmission shop and got it done for around $700 out the door. The OEM pan kit from the dealer cost $150 for repair shops. They were NOT a fancy Euro or MB specialist, just a run of the mill transmission shop, that also does regular repairs and maintenance, with excellent Google reviews.
