Removing Center Console to get access to the headunit

Mercedes-Benz S500 Maybach
Removing Center Console to get access to the headunit
Hey everyone, i need to get my headunit out of my 2015 x222 Maybach and i am having a problem moving the center console to the back because of one black cable which is between the end of the storage compartment and the rear vents. The cable seems to go into the top of the center console but there is no plug which can be unplugged.



Does anyone know for what this cable is and how to remove it?



Fyi: the car is equipped with the phone module and the heated armrest

the pictures taken are viewed from the backseats into the center console where the air vents are located
