Sunroof tilt

Is it possible to raise the rear of the sunroof without opening the shade? Checked the manual and Mr GPT. My CLS can and it really helps heat escape
TIA

Push the sunroof switch up when closed.

Yes that’s how it works on CLS
on Sclass it opens the shade first then tilts

That shade does not have cutouts as it's a rolling shade. If roof was tilted with shade close the result would be damage to the sunshade.

That makes sense - my CLS shade is much sturdier with cutouts.

thanks all!
