On all of my MB's (E, W213; S, W222 and A 217; & SL, R231) the caster and camber are in the green before the alignment process is started. All the alignment is doing is setting the Toe. As this is done there can be small changes in the caster and camber readings, but they are not adjustable. With the camber and caster out of spec it indicates wear or some other issue. Any reason for not having the dealer do the alignment? Would have been good to find that prior to warranty expiration.
It’s a Carvana purchase, it’s covered under their 100 day warranty. The shop is getting the pump for the dynamic seats replaced and noticed the worn outer edge of the tires on inspection, and got it covered on the warranty along with 2 new front tires, I am paying for the other 2 so there is new rubber all around.
I do not. Those kits become essential if changes are made to the car such as lowering, wider wheels and tires, or greater wheel offset for a wider stance. All of my AMG's are in alignment spec and have no uneven tire wear.
Great that you have that 100 day warranty from Carvana.Replacing suspension or steering parts on an AWD can be expensive.
The 'after' specs look good. RF camber is a little off but tire wear is almost all from toe and looks like you have that corrected. I learned on here there's a process to calibrate a 'steering angle' sensor that independent alignment shops probably aren't equipped to do.
Taking the opportunity to put new Continental Extremecontact DWS06 Plus on. The rims are 19, so hopefully it should have a nice compliant ride. Hopefully I can source a suitable spare to carry. I will add in a inflator and plug kit, I have used them before and minus your sidewall, they work well.
