Car wash mode?

Haven’t found it yet, either. There is a button on the panel for adjusting the outside mirrors that will turn both mirrors in against the car so that they won’t be damaged when going through a car wash. But I have yet to find the car wash mode…if there is one.

I read manual and doubled checked vehicle and can confirm there is no such mode.
Too bad, because there are number of points you need to observe prior to using a car wash. From manual:
To avoid damage to your vehicle when using a car wash, ensure the following beforehand:
-ActiveDistanceAssistDISTRONIC is deactivated.
-the HOLD function is switched off.
-the surround view camera or the rearview camera is switched off.
-the vehicle is locked and the door handles retracted.
-the side windows and sliding sunroof are completely closed.
-the blower for the ventilation/heatingis switched off.
-the windshield wiper switch is in position 0
-the least SmartKey is at a minimum distance of 20 ft (6 m) away from the vehicle. Otherwise, the trunk lid or a door could open uninten‐tionally.
-for car washes with a conveyor system:
- neutral is engaged.
- the vehicle is locked from inside.
-do not make any hand movements in the area of the overhead control panel or deactivate the Sliding Sunroof and Roller Sunblind option in the settings for the MBUX interiorAssistant.

Hi Sonic Boom….being an early adopter with the S is as tho I signed up fo the steroidal Beta version. I didn’t. It’s a new career position in itself. Too bad I wasn’t searching for a new career. No intention of going to the car wash with a list of deactivations. My condolences to all of us. This gets old fast…and I’m already old.
