I was told that I cannot use the mapping apps from my iPhone and have the map show up in the HUD. I have to use the Mercedes mapping program. If I want to use my Iphone map, I have to rely on the map showing up on the center display.

Thanks for a detailed reply. Yes polarized glasses won’t work, but non polarized are ok. I currently have HUD on my S560 which I love. Not 3d version. But I am very curious to know how the 3D augmented reality and 3 D dash is all about. How different it is from regular HUD which of course is not available.
