Is the W223 available in the U.S. as an S500? The reason I ask is that I saw a shipping truck with two S500s on it today in Alabama near the plant in Vance. I didn't think the S500 was available in America. I do remember it having 4Matic. What engine model variations does the W223 have currently?

and S580 is a 496 HP twin turbo 8 cylinder.

Yes, in fact, the MY22 S500 was just released to dealers and should be arriving as we speak, MY22 S580's have not been released yet I believe. The majority of 21's were 580's, my dealer had only S500 out of 12 total S-Class when they were first released.

The 6 cylinder s class has been around since the LCI W222 I believe.
I feel like dealers use the 6 cylinder variant to be able to advertise the super cheap lease payment but only stock 1 or 2 at a time.
