Just placed an order for S580 with the interior color 805 - Macchiato & Magma Grey.
Is this color going to be difficult to be cleaned and maintained? Our family usually owns cars for at least 15+ years and they have always been black interior.

I had the Macchiato & Magma Grey in my 2021 GLE450 and it didn't seem like it would have been a problem (to me). Something I noticed though, if you go to the Mercedes Benz USA website and "Build your own", there are 2 Macchiato & Magma Grey options, one with standard leather and one with Exclusive Nappa ($3,110 upgrade plus maybe requires other option to select). If you look at the picture update with your choice, there is more light color pieces with the Exclusive leather which appear to be lower door trim and carpets. With the standard leather the photo appears to show black lower door panels and carpet.
This could be a glitch in the configurator or the lower portions and carpet are different? If having beige or black carpets makes a difference to you, I would confirm with Mercedes as it would influence my decision to choose Exclusive leather or not. Even so, I was also following the older S-Class forums and after market floor mats in carpet or all weather were available and seemed reasonably priced if you wanted to protect light color mats for a long ownership.

It matters now it is maintained, but it will certainly be more difficult to keep clean than a black interior. That said, I don’t see too many folks keeping a W223 much beyond 3 to 5 years. I look at the 233 as a transitional S Class and believe there will be tremendous changes in these cars over the next few years, not the least of which will be a huge move towards all electric drives. If you are a “glass half full” type, go for the light interior. If your glass is always half empty, like mine , get a black interior. Good luck.
In the US with Macchiato Exclusive Nappa on AMG W223 & black dash, its "tan" all the way to the floor including the carpet. This one comes with Dark Gray AMG floor mats. Molded all weather rubber floor mats don't appear to be available state side yet unless you order from Europe.
I just picked up my car the other day and I'm looking to find a cover for the seats to protect them from jean dye and for after Tennis. I'd like them to somewhat match the color of the interior. Any suggestions?
