What are you trying to send from the car? I assume you understand the different Mercedes services, even if the car has internet connection, some services are not available without a separate subscription. Working wifi means internet connection but a non-working wifi does not necessarily mean the car does not have internet connection. Then there are issues other than the lack of subscription that are also discussed in this thread. You should describe your case in detail to make it clear which category it belongs to.
Yes i understand the services, car is new, sort of, I got it in May of 2022, everything worked fine at first, all services were activated and worked fine. in July connectivity would drop off after a couple of hours, then in Nov all remote services like, starting the car, unlocking windows etc stopped 100%. All services are good until 2025, but none of them work right now because the internet connection is not working both ways. I can update my profile information on my PC while logged into mercedes me connect and it will update the app on my phone and it will even update the email address on my car. but all the services are still trying to load, show activation in progress. MB service centers keep reloading the app and trying to re-activate all the services, but ends up doing same thing. when in car and i say "hey mercedes" it answers and says what can i do for you. I then ask for current weather conditions and it says can't do that right now, no internet connection available. when trying to do other functions, same statement comes up on car LCD, no internet connection. I see in this thread that other user had his esim chip re-programed remotely from MB and it fixed his problem, wondering if I need to have the same thing done? mercedes me connect app account has been deleted and re-done by MB service center numerous times, with no fix. They keep thinking its the app or something online, I'm pretty sure it is the car and something wrong, broke, chip messed up, software scrambled, hardware or software issue with the car. my car is an AMG CLS 53, year 2022

if you’re wondering if your car got the Hermes module , ask your dealer to give a full spesification list of your vehicle. Mine got the LTE communication module. So it’s fully functional but I still got the same problems. I had the same issues , the voice assistant kept saying that it needs to connect to the internet first. I did it but no fix. No 4G icon , all of the services in activation pending , Mercedes me support button not working. And I went to my dealership to get my vehicle updated and after they updated I kept having the same issues but this time , my voice assistant was also disabled. Now I’m left with no Mercedes me , no voice assistant and no Internet access. There is no Mercedes Benz in Ukraine , so my car got imported from United Kingdom to Ukraine. Now I can’t to get it activated in United Kingdom because I got stuff to do and I’m really busy. Im currently in Turkey but there is no Mercedes me here so they can’t also get it activated in here. I’ll be happy if you give me more updates about the thing.

Secondly, I connected the car to my home Wi-Fi and my phone's hotspot trying to bring up web browser. The icons in the top right show Wi-Fi connection in both cases, solid not shaded. But the browser cannot open any web pages and shows the same message, "Internet Connection Currently Unavailable"
Apple CarPlay connects just fine, is able to navigate, stream music, etc. Siri searches the web just fine.
"Hey Mercedes" when asked a question display a Wi-Fi icon with a diagonal line through it and say "Sorry, I can only do this when I'm online".
The "Me" button in the overhead console does absolutely nothing.
I do not have any rear screens. AMG trim, not Executive.

On MBUSA in my account when I view the car, it says VIN Verification Required. When I call the number, I get to Me customer service and they claim that I am on the wrong site and that message doesn’t matter, then they tell me to wait 48 hours and then they'll escalate to Tier 2. So frustrating!

I would be extremely grateful for any help. Customer service is a total joke!
my front screen didn’t show me the Mercedes me login thing when I first purchased it but the rear seat screens did but the QR code kept loading and loading.

Finally got a MB Service Center that would listen to the problem I had and stop messing with the app on my phone. I asked them to check out the car software and chip programming to see if one or both needed to be re-programmed. They came and picked up my car, had it for about three hours and then returned it to my home, fixed. The invoice said they re-programmed the control unit, pretty vague, but whatever they re-programmed fixed the problem. All services restored; still unable to make an internet connection, but I think that has to do with me being in South Korea. I think they have that locked out. Attached is the invoice and what they did to the car, in Hangul.

Now I need to see if they will extend my services for the 7 months it took for them to do this 30 minute fix??

I had the exact same issues last month. MB sent down a OTA communications update which broke my entire vehicle. Apparently tons of cars were affected by this, essentially the update showed downloaded but failed to install properly. A full re-flash of the entire vehicle seemed to fix the majority of my issues, the toll system still took another 3 weeks to fix working with MB + Payviam but finally a few days ago all is working again.

Has it been fixed since? I'm in a very similar situation right now. My vehicle was purchased in Australia and Mercedes Me was activated and was working flawlessly over there.
Then I took the vehicle to Japan and now there's no internet connection, so I can't use Mercedes Me app to check vehicle status (lock/unlock, open/close windows, remote engine start, etc.)
I logged into Mercedes me portal and updated the country to Japan, accepted their terms of conditions, but some services such as Online Map Update and Local Search are still activation in progress.
Others such as remote locking are activated but my vehicle has no internet connection in Japan, so all these Mercedes me features can't be used. Since Mercedes states that Mercedes me works across countries and regions as long as Mercedes me is offered in that country, one would assume that the internet connection would also carry over automatically but apparently that's not the case, and most likely Hermes Communication module needs to be reset or updated.
