I'm considering installing a screen protector on the center screen. What has been everyone's experiences with the different options?

 

I had a professional installation of screen protector on center screen which reduces fingerprints (in addition to scratch protection). It’s a bit matte and reduces brightness just a touch I was hesitant at first assuming it would drastically lessen. I pulled the trigger and thought worse case I’d just peel it off. Have no regrets so far and definitely reduces fingerprints and smear with very minimal reduction in brightness (don’t even notice it anymore).

I use safety glass, but I didn't opt for a matte surface, just a smooth one. Also equipped with an oleophobic coating to prevent fingerprints. And indeed this is the effect I got, I just wonder if after a longer time air will appear on the edges

 

I'm not sure if I am going with glass or the vinyl kind.
